NASA’s Perseverance vehicle recently arrived  on Mars, its mission: to search for traces of life on Mars. The machine is equipped to collect and transport soil samples from Mars to be further studied in Laboratories on Earth.

This project has the contribution of Stratosphere SA, which, within the scope of a consortium of which it is a part, developed thermal protection and shock absorption when grounding the capsule that will transport these samples when they re-enter the Earth’s atmosphere.

Stratosphere SA is currently incubated at Set.Up Guimarães.
